We have had an extremely fast paced start to 2022and we can’t believe it is February already! Between moving into our new office and numerous design milestones, January went by in a flash.

This year started with a bang and seen us awarded a number of new projects including there modelling of a sheltered housing in Bo’ness forFalkirk Council, a number of residentialdevelopments including a multi-million poundhome in Gourock and a Solar PV feasibility studiesfor a 7 existing nursing homes.

There are also a number of projects making thetransition into 2022 with us, one of the mostnotable being the redevelopment and extensionto Rattray Primary School in Blairgowrie. Ourongoing technical support and BIM model hashelped Hadden and Perth & Kinross Council withthe smooth delivery with what is going to be agreat asset to the local community. Through inFalkirk, we have been working with a localproperty developer on a 6 unit residentialdevelopment. This project has been extremelychallenging due to the buildings ornate featuresand age, but we have worked with the architectand overcome challenges as they arise. A bit closerto home, we continue to work on a new Passivhausproperty in the Southside of Glasgow. The goal ofthis property is to have lots of natural light whilstminimising the energy usage through low carbontechnologies such as Solar PV, an air source heatpump and a MVHR system. South of the border,we are still working on the RIBA stage 3 design of aluxury residential development in London’s BrixtonArea. This project is being delivered to BREEAM‘excellent’ and also using a number of low carbontechnologies including air source heat pumps, solar PV’s and MVHR systems.

To keep up with our ongoing workload and helpus deliver an even better service for our customers, we have made a couple of new additions to the team. Our first new recruit of2022 was Jordan who has joined us as anAssistant Building Services Engineer and has been a great addition to the team. Poppy has also joined the team in the last fortnight as aDigital Media Specialist. Poppy will oversee the development of our social media presence and also play a key role in organising our stand at UK construction week in London later this year.

Due to a number of projects on the horizon, we are on the lookout for an experiencedmechanical building services engineer. As such, ifyou have experience in this industry and arelooking to join a forward-thinking team, wewould love to hear from you.
