Ardnahoe Distillery, Isle of Islay

Ardnahoe Distillery officially opened in April 2019, becoming the ninth working distillery on Islay. The £12m investment from Scottish family-owned Hunter Laing & Company hopes to attract as many as 20,000 visitors a year. Facilities include a visitor centre with a shop, whiskey bar and restaurant. The use of timber and render cladding helps the design to blend with the island landscape.
