The Borders Distillery, Hawick

Borders Distillery based in Hawick is the first new distillery in the Scottish Borders to be built in over 180 years. The distillery is housed at an early 20th century industrial site in listed buildings which were on the ‘at risk’ register. Led by Gray Macpherson Architects, the buildings were fully renovated to accommodate the distillery. Whiskey production began in March 2018 and the distillery opened its doors in May 2018.
