Seafort-1-6ec5e457

Seafort, Elie

This project involved internal alterations and extensions to a neglected B listed house. The building’s historic character and potential had been stifled by insensitive alteration and an unsightly conservatory.

Internal alterations improved the quality of the space, including improvements to light, movement and views towards Elie Beach. The existing conservatory was replaced by a sleek glass extension with a slender steel structure and pre-patinated copper roof. The extension created new dining, living, and kitchen areas, enhancing connection to the private courtyard and beautiful sea views.
